Dr. Joshi presenting his thoughts on Cholas, attributes the inception of the dynasty from Pandavas in puranic elevation and support the same with concomitant evidences, which he feels useful. The bravery, influence, that the Cholas wielded on the areas they won and continued till their existence has been indicated, through inscriptional evidences. The art, culture developed and religious harmony exhibited by Cholas have also been explained.
